Two towns. Two counters. One family.

Mears Pharmacy and Morgan Drug are two locally owned independent pharmacies in Farmington and Morgan, Utah, both operated by Mears Pharmacy, LLC.

Our story

Treating neighbors like family, since day one.

Jonny Mears opened Mears Pharmacy in Farmington in 2018 with a simple idea: a pharmacy should feel like the opposite of a call center. Clear guidance. Short waits. A pharmacist who actually picks up the phone.

In 2025, that idea grew west into the Morgan Valley. When the Smith family looked for someone to carry on Morgan Drug — the pharmacy they'd stewarded since 1964 — they chose the Mears family through friends who knew our reputation in Davis County. Today all four of our pharmacists rotate between both stores, so you get the same care whichever door you walk through.

Jonny Mears

PharmD, Founder of Mears Pharmacy

A Farmington native and 2011 Midwestern University graduate (magna cum laude), Jonny's approach to pharmacy is rooted in a family legacy of service. With his father, Rick, and grandfather, Russ, having served as Golf Professionals at Oakridge Country Club, Jonny understands the value of treating neighbors like family. At Mears Pharmacy, he prioritizes clear guidance, short wait times, and easy refills. He is honored to bring this high standard of personal care to patients in both Farmington and the Morgan Valley community.

Jeb Blackham

PharmD, Pharmacist at Mears Pharmacy

Jeb brings sharp clinical knowledge and a calm, patient demeanor that our customers appreciate, especially when navigating medication questions or insurance issues.

Whitney McMillen

PharmD, Pharmacist at Mears Pharmacy

A native of Layton, Utah, Whitney brings two decades of experience to the Mears Pharmacy team. With 20 years working in pharmacy, she offers deep knowledge and dedication to patient care. Outside of her pharmaceutical duties, Whitney is highly valued for her management of the pharmacy's gift shop, where she does an amazing job curating a wonderful selection for customers. When she's not at the pharmacy, Whitney enjoys her creative hobby of cross-stitching and is a busy mother to her three children.

Jon Warren

PharmD, Pharmacist at Morgan Drug

A native of Sanpete County, Jon graduated with his PharmD from the University of Utah. He brings a focused dedication to his work as a pharmacist at Morgan Drug, ensuring patients receive exceptional care and clear guidance. Outside of the pharmacy, Jon is a busy father to his four children and enjoys winding down by playing the guitar. His lively family also includes two goats, a dog, and a cat.
